Edna Breegle

Edna Breegle, daughter of G.M. Breegle and Blanche (Boyd) Breegle. She was educated in Scottdale High School and was a teacher in Mt. Pleasant and Scottdale, PA. She married Samuel Fausold in 1913 and became mother of Samuel Jr. George McClellan, Patricia Howell, Martin L, and Alice Boyd.

Honorable Berkey Boyd

Berkey Boyd, uncle of Edna Boyd Breegle, Member of the Pennsylvania General Assembly and later highly regarded Secretary of Property and Supplies in Pennsylvania Governor Gifford Pinchot's first cabinet, 1922 – 26. "Uncle Berkey Boyd" gave Edna away at her wedding to Sam. Sam’s son Martin Luther wrote a political biography of Gifford Pinchot as his doctoral dissertation at Sycracuse University which was latter published by Sycracuse University Press. For publication, the dissertation was much enhanced with the papers of Amos Pinchot, brother of Gifford.

Edna Breegle

Edna Breegle was daughter of George M. Breegle and Blanche (Boyd) Breegle. Edna was educated in the Scottdale High School, and was a teacher in the Mt. Pleasant and Scottdale, Pa. Schools. She married Samuel Fausold in 1912 and became the mother of Samuel, Jr., George McClellan Breege, Patricia Howell, Martin L. Fausold (2nd.) and Alice Boyd.

Charles, brother of Samuel, Gettysburg College, Class of 1912. Charles was not the student that Samuel was but was very bright, successful school administrator; and much beloved by family and associates.
