Welty/Fausold Reunion, 1966Although far more Weltys were at this reunion than Fausolds, the latter seem to have the more central location. Of course, there were many more Weltys inasmuch as Aunt Mary Fausold Welty had thirteen children. Prominent Fausolds were seemingly the main row beginning with folded hands: Edna Jane Fausold, Charles D. Fausold, William M. Fausold, Priscilla Fausold Weir, George M. B. (Mac) Fausold, Betty Fausold, Margaret Ann Fausold, Sam Fausold, Jr. This was the last time Weltys and Fausolds reunioned until the Great Fausold Reunion, in Pen Yan New York in 1985 |

Martins children in front rowLeft to right Steven Austin Mowers, husband of Marti Fausold Mowers and Martin Samuel Fausold. Behind in the second row are Dr. Stephenie Flom, granddughter of Samuel Fausold and Sally Supsric Fausold, widow of Samuel Fausold Jr. Here, Martin delivered a brief address reporting that partisan politics in public education in "my fathers day" was fierce and had not been studied.
