Please stop by the LTS helpdesk to have your laptop configured for the correct security settings. This one time setup must be completed in order to do the following.

1. Start/Settings/Control Panel

2. Click On Network Properties

3. Add Dialup Network.

4. Select "Connect to a private network through the Internet".

5. Select "Do not dial the initial connection".

6. When prompted for Destination Address, enter vpn.iup.edu

7. Go into Properties for this connection.

8. VPN Settings should be all defaults except for:

a.) Options/Include Windows Logon domain. This should be selected.

b.) Networking/Internet Protocol/properties/advanced/dns - Uncheck

9. Register this connection address in DNS

10. Enter username, password and IUPMSD domain and select connect.
