Records of Kappa Delta Pi, Education Honor Society

Kappa Delta Pi was established as a national Honorary Educational Fraternity in 1911. The purpose of Kappa Delta Pi was to encourage high intellectual and scholastic standards and to recognize outstanding contributions to education. The Beta Gamma Chapter was organized at State Techers College on May 14, 1928 and was the first chapter in the state of Pennsylvania.

This collection dates from the Chapter's formation until 1961. It includes miscellaneous organizational papers such as minutes, membership rosters, newsletters and a brief history of the organization.
