J. Neal Griffith Autograph Collection

Mr. Griffith, a long-time resident of Marion Center and Indiana, PA, donated this collection to the library in 1983. It is one of the largest and most unusual autograph collections in the world. The collection consists of autographs gathered from 1937-1977 and features personalities from all walks of life, including Presidents Franklin Roosevelt and Martin Van Buren, athletes Ty Cobb and Jim Thorpe, actress Marilyn Monroe, and artist Pablo Picasso.
