Pennsylvania State Modern Language Association Collection

The Pennsylvania State Modern Language Association was founded in 1919.   The purpose of the organization is to promote the teaching and study of modern foreign languages throughout the state of Pennsylvania.  The group has several means of promotion that it employs, including conferences, workshops, publications, and the collection of marketing data.  It also recognizes indivuduals who have provided valuable assistance toward reaching the organization's goals.  Anyone interested in the study or teaching of languages can become a member, and the organization collaborates with other groups that promote the study of foreign languages.
