Raymona Hull Collection
Raymona Hull came to Indiana University of Pennsylvania in 1958 with the
title of professor of English. During her time at IUP she taught a variety of graduate and
undergraduate classes and served as the coordinator of Freshman English for eight years.
Aside from teaching graduate classes on Thoreau, Melville, and Poe, Hull authored a book
on Hawthorne entitled Nathaniel Hawthorne: The English Experience. Hull died on
February 3, 1997; she was 89 years old.
The Raymona Hull collection contains several books from her personal holdings. In addition to these works, the collection contains unopened copies of her own book entitled Nathaniel Hawthorne: The English Experience. Other items include a college scrapbook, note cards, newspaper clippings, pamphlets and articles, and several other personal items.
