Edward Chaszar Collection
The papers of Dr. Edward Chaszar document the distinguished career of an internationally
known political scientist and his 22 years of teaching at IUP. During his tenure, Chaszar
taught International Law, International Organizations, World Politics, and Latin American
Politics. He was also heavily engaged in research and activities involving human rights
and the rights of national and ethnic minorities. This collection is arranged into three
series:
- Bound Volumes of Manuscripts
- Correspondence Dated 1969-1991
- Bound Volumes of Correspondence in Hungarian.
Some items in this collection are restricted, and permission is needed for their use. A reading knowledge of Hungarian is essential for the full research value of the correspondence in Hungarian.
