UNIVERSITY ARCHIVES
| Serving as the institutional memory of Indiana
University of Pennsylvania, this collection includes materials that
document the fascinating history of Indiana University of
Pennsylvania from its creation in 1875 to the present day.
Here you can read documents generated by the Board of
Trustees, the President's Office, the Office of the Registrar,
the Office of Student Activities and Student Affairs, Alumni
Affairs, the University Senate, and several of the active unions on
campus. If you wish, you can also browse yearbooks, student
newspapers, scrapbooks, and examine pennants and other ephemera that
put you in touch with the vibrant history of our institution. Such
materials provide valuable resources for research into the
University and aid former students, faculty and other
researchers. |

Our collections are rich in photographic images of the people,
places, and events which came together to create the history of the Normal
School, College, and University. A database of selected images can be
searched by keyword from our
Special
Collections Images Page. More are available to those who visit us in
person.
Access to the collection if facilitated through online Finding Aids
