IUP Libraries are dedicated to providing their users with access to materials to support their scholarly and professional activities. No modern library can own all materials need by their users. Therefore, we offer Interlibrary Loan Services to students, staff, and faculty of the University to provide materials that are not available at Stapleton Library.  In order to speed your request, please

To most quickly gain access to the material requested, it is best to use the following in this order: 

1. Library users should first search PILOT, our online catalog, to determine if materials are owned locally.
2. For books not owed by IUP Libraries, search PALCI E-ZBorrow.  Most requests submitted through PALCI E-ZBorrow are received within a week.
3. For journal articles, check   IUP Libraries Electronic Journals Search.
4. Materials not available through PILOT,  PALCI E-ZBorrow,  electronically in full-text through  IUP Libraries Electronic Journals Search,  can be requested through ILLIAD which allows users to request items, track requests, and renew loaned items.
